AIM’s Timothy O’Neill to Participate in SMTA Ohio Valley Solder Roundtable Event

Mr. O’Neill will be speaking about the evolution of lead-free solder alloys.

Solder alloy options are expanding rapidly as new application requirements are revealing the limitations of existing lead-free alloys. In this presentation, attendees will gain a better understanding of the evolution of lead-free solder alloys, the limitations of today’s common alloys and what the solder industry is offering as next generation materials.

Timothy O'Neill is the Technical Marketing Manager for AIM Solder. With nearly 25 years of experience in electronics soldering, Mr. O’Neill has co-authored several papers on PCB assembly subjects. He is a Certified IPC Specialist, a technical writer and presenter for industry trade publications and events. His commitment and dedication to sharing innovative solutions to challenging problems in the electronics assembly market have earned him recognition from the SMTA as Speaker of Distinction.
