AIM Announce the Implementation of Solar Power at US Facility

Cranston, Rhode Island USA – AIM Solder, a leading global manufacturer of solder assembly materials for the electronics industry, is pleased to announce the implementation of solar power at its Cranston, Rhode Island facility.

As part of an ongoing sustainability effort, AIM has begun generating solar power at its Cranston, Rhode Island facility. The 409 roof-mounted solar panels are expected to generate approximately 40-60% of the facility’s electrical consumption with clean, zero-carbon solar energy.

“We are always investigating ways to improve the efficiency of our facilities that also demonstrate a meaningful return on investment,” said David Suraski, Executive Vice President.  “AIM Solder is committed to a more sustainable, carbon-free future that will positively affect generations to come.”

Installation of the solar panels supports AIM’s sustainability initiative to reduce the consumption, degradation, and depletion of vital, limited resources.

Construction of the solar power system was completed on May 28th, 2021.
