CX18 No Clean Cored Solder Wire
CX18 No Clean Cored Solder Wire is specifically designed for a manual soldering process such as hand soldering and rework. CX18 provides fast wetting on all surface finishes with all alloys and is preferred by operators due to its low odor/smoke formula. Its post soldering residues are minimal, clear and pass the current rev of IPC JTD-004 for SIR and corrosion requirements.
CX18 is the optimum manufacturer’s choice for solder wire for electronics as it extends solder tip life and has excellent thermal transfer characteristics which eliminates the need to add additional flux. CX18 as a lead-free solder wire is REACH and RoHS compliant and is also available in leaded alloys such as Sn63/Pb37.
