AIM Introduces NC265LR Liquid Flux

Cranston, Rhode Island, USA - AIM is pleased to announce the release of NC265LR, an alcohol-based no-clean liquid flux formulated to offer low-residue and excellent wetting for lead-free and tin-lead wave soldering applications.

NC265LR offers faster wetting for SN100C and SAC alloys than previously formulated fluxes and is compatible with a broad range of lead-free and tin-lead alloys.  NC265LR offers low post-process residues resulting in better aesthetics as well as improved first pass in-circuit testing and a reduced need to clean pallets and conveyors.  NC265LR has also proven to reduce preventative maintenance requirements for spray fluxing applications.  This flux was designed to be a no-clean, non-visible residue flux; however, it may be cleaned if it is critical to the product application. NC265LR has a 1 year shelf life when stored at room temperature and is available in a wide variety of packaging.  NC265LR passes the new SIR requirements under IPC-TM-650 method 2.6.3.7.
