Reclamation
As "cradle-to-grave" legislation is implemented, working with a supplier that is able to reclaim scrap metal is critical. AIM is one of the few solder suppliers capable of performing on-site solder waste recycling. AIM’s solder recycling service is easy, environmentally-friendly and compliant with all federal, state, and provincial regulations. All reclamation materials support non-electronics markets.

At AIM, we are dedicated to reducing fuel and energy consumption while optimizing turn times and capacity. To achieve this, we collaborate with transportation partners who share our commitment to environmental consciousness.
Operational Energy
To minimize our carbon footprint and lessen our impact on the environment, AIM takes proactive measures, including:
Eliminating gas and propane-powered forklifts to reduce emissions, hazardous materials storage, and waste fluids. Utilizing LED motion detection factory lighting to reduce energy consumption.
Implementing solar power systems to decrease air pollution and dependence on non-renewable energy sources.
Waste Material
At AIM, we believe in respecting the environment throughout the entire lifecycle. That's why we collaborate with various partners who specialize in regenerating waste or finding second useful lives for materials such as used oil, foundry residues, cardboard, and paper.
Water & Wastewater
Water plays a vital role in our operations at AIM. By installing water towers in every factory, we reduce our demand on municipal water supplies and enable the reuse of treated water, thus minimizing our ecological footprint.
